Passing through the Door of Mercy in Rome

Celebrating the Year of Mercy

Jesus Christ is the face of the Father’s mercy. #1

We need constantly to contemplate the mystery of mercy. It is a wellspring of joy, serenity, and peace. #2

At times we are called to gaze even more attentively on mercy so that we may become a more effective sign of the Father’s action in our lives.  # 3

We want to live this Jubilee Year in light of the Lord’s words: Merciful like the Father. The Evangelist reminds us of the teaching of Jesus who says, “Be merciful just as your Father is merciful” (Lk 6:36).   # 13

May the message of mercy reach everyone, and may no one be indifferent to the call to experience mercy. # 19 (Bull of Indiction of the Year of Mercy)

On Saturday 20th February Kate Stogdon (director of the Temporary Professed in Europe-Togo) will make the jubilee for the Year of Mercy by passing through the Holy Door of St Peter’s Basilica with our seven sisters from the province in temporary profession.

Pray for us and we will pray for you.
