Prayer for Vocations
Join with us in praying for vocations
God of Goodness, you called Mother Thérèse to make your Son known and
loved. Since then, many other women have followed her in this adventure. Still
today, in order to respond more to your call, you invite us to place ourselves
in the ‘school of the heart’ of your Son. To continue to reach out more fully
to our contemporaries who search for meaning and to pass on to them your Word,
awaken in the hearts of many women a great desire. Inspire them with the
longing to surrender themselves without reserve to the action of the Holy
Spirit, and to follow Jesus Christ in the Congregation of Our Lady of the
Cenacle, particularly in the province of Europe -Togo.

Temporary Professed Sisters in Rome!
Marie, Patrizia, Kate, Maurizia, Anne-Catherine, Claire, Marielle, Sophie |
Merciful like the Father ... is the "motto" of this Holy Year. In mercy, we find proof of how God loves us... Day after day, touched by His compassion, we also can become compassionate towards others.
Let us pray for each other that we can be merciful to all whom we meet today.

Passing through the Door of Mercy in Rome
Celebrating the Year of Mercy
Jesus Christ is the face of the
Father’s mercy. #1
We need constantly to contemplate the
mystery of mercy. It is a wellspring of joy, serenity, and peace. #2
At times we are called to gaze even
more attentively on mercy so that we may become a more effective sign of the
Father’s action in our lives. # 3
We want to live this Jubilee Year in
light of the Lord’s words: Merciful like the Father. The
Evangelist reminds us of the teaching of Jesus who says, “Be merciful just as
your Father is merciful” (Lk 6:36). # 13
May the message of mercy reach
everyone, and may no one be indifferent to the call to experience mercy. # 19
(Bull of Indiction of the Year of Mercy)
On Saturday 20th
February Kate Stogdon (director of the Temporary Professed in Europe-Togo) will
make the jubilee for the Year of Mercy by passing through the Holy Door of St
Peter’s Basilica with our seven sisters from the province in temporary
profession.
Pray for us and we
will pray for you.
Europe, Syria, Solidarity
In the light of the continuing crisis in the Mediterranean and David Cameron's attempts to reshape the UK's relationship with Europe it is well worth reading Patrick Riordan's article in the Jesuit online journal Thinking Faith

Trusting in the care and providence of God
Can you trust that what is happening to you as Cenacle is as it is meant to be?
What does it mean to choose indestructible hope within diminishment?
It is not surely about running yourselves ragged. It is not just about who you were (good as it was), or what you do (important as it is), or your dreams for the future (vital though they are).
To choose life, even in the face of loss and leave-taking is a powerful witness.
Cenacle, after all is about love lived in community, in response to a call that makes us all more than we can be on our own.
So share your lives, your sorrows and your joys. Make room for what is coming to birth in all those lettings be and lettings go.
Each Cenacle presence is a place of unfolding, of nourishment and generosity.
Your call is to hold that space open so that others can find themselves, each other and God at work in the centre of their lives.
Can you trust that the spirit of all those women who came before you is alive in you right now?
Can you believe that God is renewing you in the core of who you are? Each one has their part to play. Each sister, each companion must take up their role with humility and wonder.
The call will come.
Are you ready?’
(Kate Stogdon)
